I was most surprised by how pristine the campsite and waterfalls. The guide was fantastic.
I was most surprised about descent to Mooney Falls. Loved our trip and out guide Joe was great.
On the 2nd day Greg hauled all the cooking gear and food out to Plateau Pt and cooked us dinner as the sun was setting. It was an unbelievably beautiful setting. Greg was a great guide. Very informative and really went out of his way to make this a great and memorable adventure.
I was most surprised when we went beyond Mooney Falls. We also loved the delicious meals!
I was most surprised by how blue the water was.
I was most surprised how vast the Grand Canyon was and going to beaver falls was great.
I loved accomplishing a 25-year goal: standing in the Colorado River at the bottom of the Grand Canyon, after getting there the hard way–by hiking down! We were very pleased with our fantastic guide, and glad it was just he and the two of us–it made it a very personal “customized” adventure.
Although it was hard physically we loved the views of the canyon.
So many things I loved about the Grand Canyon- My favorite thing was seeing the Colorado River. I was most surprised by how incredibly huge the Grand Canyon is and the terrain is so different depending on where you are.
We loved how prepared our guide was and how great the food was!
We loved the sense of accomplishment. We were really concerned that we could make it to the end, especially after the first day, but we did! Taylor was a great guide and I really liked his support and his attitude.
I loved hiking down old Bright Angel trail with our knowledgeable guide.. We also loved how accommodating Taylor was. He really customized the trip for us.
We were amazed by how beautiful the falls were.
Everything was absolutely amazing and I would find it difficult to name just one great thing. Elaine was an excellent guide and would definitely choose to do another trip with her. I felt we were well informed about the preparation for the trip and packing and the food provided was delicious and the right kinds of foods as well as the amounts for the activity levels we were performing. Elaine was so informative, encouraging and fun. She truly made our adventure as memorable as the Canyon and falls themselves. Great job!!
We loved swimming in the falls!
The adventure itself was amazing! It’s hard to pin point just one thing. The falls were amazing! The camping by the river … The canyons! It was the perfect adventure! I think the beauty of it all ! Being able to get out of our comfort zone, challenging ourselves. Never thought We could do all that we did. Elaine was an amazing guide! She made us feel like we were all a family on an adventure .she truly loves what she does, and a true inspiration. This was the most amazing trip we have ever had, and we have been on many. Thank you for a great time and a trip to remember.
We were amazed b the great beauty of the Grand Canyon – every part of it is just magnificent. That was a fabulous trip that we are super grateful that we could even go and how it ended up being just us two with Karen. Lots of fun.
We enjoyed the art and science as well as the trek.
We were surprised by the beauty of the falls–two of them that you could actually venture into, walk around and/swim in. We also stayed in the actual Indian village and their homes and animals right there, no paved roads, the helicoptering in/out of everything including the residents. It was a delightfully fabulous adventure
The falls and the scenery on the hike were amazing. We loved being there.
